Game Boy / Game Boy Color / Game Boy Advance – Cardboard Box Layout

• One continuous print file including front, back, spine, fore edge, flaps, and glue tabs
• Front cover dimensions are square, making less space for assets

Nintendo DS – Plastic Case Slipcover

• Flat insert with front, back, and spine as connected design regions
• No flaps or box-style folding components, can be inserted as-is and conforms to the case

Note: These are custom only; official manuals are not recreated. Original images and assets are extremely difficult to source online in high quality, making exact reproduction impractical. In contrast, front and back covers are easier to reproduce, as they often require only a few assets to be recreated rather than the entire manual. If you provide a high-quality scan as reference, partial recreation may be possible, but custom design is recommended as the original Red/Blue manual is 70 pages, plus the front and back.

What You Receive

Every commission includes high‑quality, print‑ready files formatted to your requested specifications. Here is what you can expect:

Print‑Ready PNG File

Delivered at full resolution with the correct dimensions for your format. Most projects are prepared on an A4-sized canvas unless you request a different size or provide specific measurements. DPI is usually 300 or 600 depending on your preference.

Support for Custom Printing Templates

If your printing or boxing service uses a specific cut/fold template, I can format the artwork to match that layout. Templates vary by manufacturer and region, so you're welcome to send yours before I begin.

Optional PSD File

I can provide a layered PSD upon request. To protect my original assets and templates, not all layers are editable but allow for adjustments. Typically, the PSD includes:

• Background & bleed merged into a single layer
• Text merged into a single layer
• Images, logos, and key elements merged into a single layer
• Panel separation into groups by region (i.e. FRONT, BACK, SPINE)
• Optional dieline or cutting guides

If you need a specific file format (PDF, TIFF, different layer grouping, bleed margins, etc.), I'm happy to accommodate where possible.

Quick Orders

I have created many official-style box art replicas over time. If you’re looking for a game I’ve already created designs for, I can deliver the final files much faster than a normal commission. This option is also great if you prefer a straightforward, all-in-one request.

• Fast turnaround: If the artwork already exists, I can prepare and deliver the final file very quickly.
• Same pricing: Prices remain the same as regular commissions to stay fair to earlier customers who paid full price.
• Customisable output: Even if a design already exists, you can request a different cutting, folding, or printing template if the previous one doesn’t suit your needs.
• Consistent quality: You still receive the same high-resolution, print-ready files as all other commissions.

How to check availability: Just tell me which game you need. If I’ve completed it before, I can prepare the print-ready file right away. If not, we can proceed with a new commission.

Payments

I aim to make commissioning as easy and comfortable as possible, no matter where you're located. Payment availability can vary by country, so I try to stay flexible and work with methods that are accessible to you.

My preferred payment methods are PayPal and Revolut:

• PayPal: In some countries PayPal may not be available, and fees can be inconsistent. I usually use the Friends & Family option to avoid fees, but I never ask for payment until the commission is fully finished, so you always see the completed work first (sample). If you cannot or prefer not to use Friends & Family, we can discuss alternatives.
• Revolut: Reliable and fee-free, but relatively new and possibly unavailable based on region.

I am also open to considering other payment methods. If you need or prefer a different option, just let me know beforehand and we can arrange something that works for both of us.

Note: All prices are listed in GBP. For international customers, you may need to do a currency conversion. Prices may vary slightly depending on exchange rates.
